Move over cheese boards, in South Africa you can now enjoy a chocolate and wine pairing. We don’t know about you but we were sold just hearing chocolate and wine. It was a unique experience with red, white and rose wines paired with dark, milk and white chocolates. It went together surprisingly well.
Many don’t even associate South Africa with wine but the wine region near Cape town produces some really great wines. If you have the time definitely spend a night or two at a vineyard hotel or visit as a daytrip. Do opt for a wine and chocolate tasting, preferably after a meal as it makes for a great dessert.
